Astrolabe / macOS
Astrolabe indexes Zotero, Obsidian, and Eagle locally, bringing search, organization, inspection, and source opening into one desktop workspace.
macOS development build · no public installer
01 / Overview
Astrolabe brings locally indexed material from Zotero, Obsidian, and Eagle into one desktop workspace.
Search titles, tags, Zotero annotation text and comments, and Obsidian note text.
Filter by library, tag, or nested Astrolabe folder. Filing an item does not move its source file.
View source copies, folders, tags, annotation previews, and Obsidian backlinks, then open or reveal the original item.
02 / Data model
Astrolabe reads connector data into SQLite and FTS tables in a local workspace. Its folders are stored as separate metadata, so organizing an item does not rename, move, or delete the original.
The index is derived from the connected sources. Search and inspection happen in Astrolabe; open and reveal actions return to the source application or file.
Data model documentation03 / Availability
